Nordica Owens, APRN is a Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in electrophysiology with an extensive background in cardiology. She began her professional journey earning a degree in Education from the University of Saskatchewan, where she developed a passion for teaching and empowering others through knowledge and understanding.
She later earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Saint Mary’s University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University. Nordica is nationally certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care focused on improving each patient’s heart health and overall wellness.
As the wife of a now-retired Army serviceman, Nordica had the opportunity to live and work in several states across the country, including gaining valuable experience in military hospitals and diverse healthcare systems. These experiences shaped her adaptable, compassionate, and patient-centered approach to care while allowing her to work with patients from many different backgrounds and communities.
Outside of work, Nordica is a proud mother of two sons (and grandsons) who enjoys spending time boating, relaxing at the beach, and making memories with family.
